It takes a villiage to put these programs on. We are always looking for volunteers to help lighten the load for all of us and will find a place for anyone who wishes to help out, no matter how much, or how little, time you have to give. If you register to coach your childs summer league team, you wont regret it. While it is a time commitment, spending that time with your young athlete is time you will not get back so make some memories that you both will talk about for years after. No experience needed and there are people who can answer any question and help guide your early decision making. Once your a young atheletes coach, you will always be "Coach" to that player.
for ages 13 and up
Register your child for a part-time summer job umpiring some of our summer league games. This is a paid position where we are trying to provide opportunities for kids to practice leadership, responsibility, accountability and the importance of being on time. Pay is based on experience with returning umpires getting yearly pay raises. Starting wages are $30/25. $30 for homeplate and $25 for field.
This is a limited registration and you must go through an evaluation prior to being accepted onto a team. Those details will be shared during our evaluation period, which is typically in July each year. Watch your email and our FaceBook page for details about this
The league doesnt go without volunteers. Its amazing the amount of work it takes to put on a program for 1000 kids. The phrase "many hands make light work" has never rung truer. Please consider helping out as there is definitely a spot for everyone. Help lighten the load for us all.
