2025 Amherst Athletic Association - Annual 2025

The Amherst Athletic Association was founded in 1953 and provides recreational baseball and softball to the youth of Amherst, Ohio and surrounding areas.  The association is a 501c3 program organized by volunteers, and funded through participation fees, team and league sponsorships, and community stakeholders.  Please like and follow our Facebook page to stay up to date with information.  If you have any questions, please email us at leagueinfo@amherstball.com.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When will the season start and end?: Practices will start near the end of April, with games starting around Memorial Day. We try to have the season complete by mid-July.
  • What days are practices/games?: Typically, events are Monday-Saturday. We try to avoid Sunday's, but due to certain circumstances they may be used.
  • What time are practices/games?: Typically, events during the week start around 5:00pm, with events on Saturday starting around 9:00am.
  • When will I be contacted by a coach?: Registration ends on March 15, so nothing before then. In early April, teams will start getting formed and coaches will be in contact using the information you provided in this registration process.
  • Can I make special team/player requests?: Tee-Ball is the only league that coach/player requests will be accepted. **Requests cannot be guaranteed**
